The Guild’s First Blossom: Finding Our Way Back to the Garden
The Guild’s First Blossom: Finding Our Way Back to the Garden
Come spend a week with us developing new biospiritual senses, new maps of what is possible when we pray, discover, share, and work together as creators of a new humanity.
Our days will begin with morning music, prayer, eucharist, and /or chanting. We will then gather for some collective guild work - each day will focus on a different aspect of our inner/outer explorations. Videos, poetry, short readings, teachings, discussions, and group attunement are some examples of what this time together each day will include.
Time will then be spent out in the natural world, learning to see/hear/feel and taste what the land, the plants, the animals, the water and the wind has to teach us about ourselves, the divinity of all life and to catch glimpses of how better to live in alignment with all of Mother Earth’s children.
Lunch will be followed by personal time and then we will come together to do small physical projects before we gather to share in a talking circle where we will braid our gleanings with each other to catalyze our vision of how a new humanity is beginning to unfold.
Dinner will focus on a different topic each evening, including how the scripture of nature is revealing itself, how sharing consciousness with other sentient life is informing our sense of presence and purpose, and other topics we will choose together. Evening time will be for fun, fires, laughter and community building.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided. Please let us know your food restrictions and allergies.
REGISTRATION: Please email Susan or call her at 734-678-5616 with any questions or for further information.
COST: $60/day for food and sundries, tariffs included. Donations to the Green Terra Sanctuary Retreat House are also welcome.

Tikkun Olam: Repairing the World
Tikkun Olam: Repairing the World
Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen tells us that behind the Jewish ethical imperative to “repair the world” is an important creation story. “In the beginning of creation, the light of the universe was shattered into a million, million pieces, which lodged as shards inside everything and everyone. Our calling, as human beings, is to look for the light from where we stand, to call it out, to gather it up — and in so doing, to help repair the world known as Tikkun Olam.
As we write this we don’t know what the state of this country and the world will be like in a few months. But what we do know is that the world is in need of repair. The truth is, we are in the midst of a great tearing-apart of the fabric of modern civilization that most of us assumed would go on indefinitely. This is the unveiling power of this apocalyptic moment which is perhaps a tipping point that some of us sensed in our bones was approaching our world.
What does repairing the world mean in these times? What shards of light are we gathering up and shining into this darkness? This is the work of the 2025 Wisdom Project. We will gather together to explore in plenary sessions, small groups and private work. All are welcome to attend.
We will be sending you preparatory materials some time before the Wisdom School and details about the schedule.

The work of wisdom is the free exchange of the energies of Sophia gifted into our world. Yet we live in a society, however, where everything is becoming monetized. So instead of a fixed payment, we are adopting the practice of gifting rather than setting a fee structure for our zoom offerings. We suggest you consult your heart to support our work together and also help those who wish to attend but may not be able to because of financial hardship. In this way we receive and we give and the web of gifting spreads out across this desperate world.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
